These Terms and Conditions govern all tours, safaris, trekking, travel arrangements, and related services provided by Nuru Expeditions. By booking with us or using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once Nuru Expeditions receives the required deposit or full payment and issues a written confirmation.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
The person making the booking confirms that they are authorized to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all travelers in the group.
2. Payments
A deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid before the start of the tour, as specified in your booking confirmation.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed payment methods.
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on the time of cancellation and services already booked.
No refunds will be made for unused services, early departures, or missed activities once the tour has commenced.
4. Changes to Itinerary
Nuru Expeditions reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary when necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Any changes will be made with the best interest of the traveler in mind.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers.
Insurance should cover medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of luggage, and personal belongings.
Nuru Expeditions is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.
6. Health, Fitness, and Safety
Travelers must ensure they are physically and medically fit to participate in the tour activities.
Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Nuru Expeditions reserves the right to refuse participation if a traveler’s condition poses a risk to themselves or others.
7. Passports, Visas, and Documentation
Travelers are responsible for ensuring their passports, visas, and travel documents are valid.
Nuru Expeditions is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete documentation.
8. Liability and Responsibility
Nuru Expeditions acts as an agent for accommodation providers, transport operators, and other service suppliers.
We are not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or expense caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, acts of God, government actions, or third-party suppliers.
9. Wildlife and Adventure Activities
Safaris, trekking, and adventure activities involve inherent risks.
By participating, travelers acknowledge and accept these risks.
All activities must be conducted in accordance with guide instructions and park regulations.
10. Photography and Marketing
Nuru Expeditions may use photographs or videos taken during tours for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be included, you must notify us in writing prior to travel.
11. Complaints and Claims
Any complaints should be reported immediately to the tour guide or company representative so that efforts can be made to resolve the issue promptly.
Written complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after the completion of the tour.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
13. Amendments
Nuru Expeditions reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be published on our website.
